Duncan's Brain

“One way to understand our current situation is to compare it to surgery. If your family doctor says you need to have a major operation that will cost a lot of money, you would be wise to get a second opinion. If your doctor says he wants to perform brain surgery on you, it would be very wise to determine your best option and to identify the most experienced and knowledgeable surgeon available.”
Richard Duncan, the city of Portsmouth's Waste Water manager

In the above quote, Richard Duncan, who has repeatedly failed to pass the test required for him to hold his current job with the city, talked about brain surgery to Portsmouth Times reporter Frank Lewis. Obviously Duncan has brains on his mind. To read what somebody with a Class I brain has to say about Duncan's brain and Portsmouth's sewers, click here.

Brain Surgery

“Mr. Duncan, there must be some other way of passing the test for  your Class IV license than this crazy brain transplant idea of yours. Speaking on behalf of all the sewer rats of Portsmouth, I want to implore you not to go through with it, because we know this operation has never been performed on humans before, only on rats, and based on what it did to a cousin of mine, you’d be better off with the brain you have, even if it’s not Class IV caliber.”
